ATMU teachers attended training sessions for pilot teachers hosted by Baku Business University in the scope of "EQAC" project

Teachers from the “Tourism”, “Management”, and “English Language” departments of the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) have participated in the training hosted at Baku Business University (BBU).

The training was organized within the framework of European Union-funded Erasmus+ project "Establishing and development of Quality Assurance Centers at Azerbaijan Universities, EQAC". Samira Amirova, Rena Agasiyeva, Jabir Feyzullayev, and Fuad Jabbarov, the representatives of the pilot project, which is being implemented at ATMU on the specialty "Organization of Tourism Business", took advantage of the opportunity to get acquainted with the experience of the education expert from the SMK University of Applied Social Sciences, Lithuania, Ms. Inqa Juknyte-Petreikienin.

ATMU employees have focused on individual teaching methodologies during the implementation of practical tasks during sessions such as "Student centred education", "ESG standards in the European Higher Education Area", "Learning outcomes and competencies", "Teaching and evaluation". During the training, the new syllabus form presented by ATMU teachers was highly appreciated by the expert.
