Baku Business University organized an online meeting within international project with participation European experts and local partners on 15 April 2020

In order to prevent the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the territory of Azerbaijan, the educational process has been suspended in all educational institutions. Nevertheless, in order to provide students with the opportunity to get study programs, a number of activities related to the organization of the educational process at Baku Business University are carried out remotely - "online" at a high level.
As an active participant in international projects, Baku Business University  successfully continue the implementation of the Erasmus + project "Establishment and development of Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijan universities" funded by the European Commission . For obvious reasons, foreign trips, face-to-face trainings, planned activities and meetings within the project have been temporarily postponed. Nevertheless, on the recommendation of the European Commission, an online meeting was organized by Baku Business University on 15 April 2020 to review the project implementation period, review the work plan for the remaining period and discuss a number of issues. During the meeting, proposals were made to extend the project for up to 1 year, as well as to carry out certain activities envisaged in the work plan online. The project's European partners Dr. Victor Kordos from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, George Dafaoulas from the University of Middlesex in the UK, Dr. Denis Galvin from the University of Alicante in Spain, Inga Juknyt-Petreikien from the Lithuanian SMK University of Applied Sciences and local partners' representatives from  Baku Biznes University, University of Technology of Azerbaijan , Nakhchivan University, Odlar Yurdu University, Cooperation University, University of Tourism and Management and Azerbaijan State University of Architecture and Construction participated at the meeting. Baku Business University, which is the project coordinator, was represented at the meeting by Eshgin Bayramov, Vice Rector for International Relations, Gulshan Bayramova, Project Coordinator, and Javidan Heydarov, Director of the Quality Assurance Center. At the end of the meeting, it was decided to hold the next meeting to continue the project successfully.
