On January 7 – 10, 2020 the teaching staff of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) has participated in the training devoted to the aspects of quality higher education. The training has been organized by Baku Business University (BBU) within the framework of the project “Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijan Universities” (EQAC) coordinated by BBU with the financial support of European Commission. The training participated by the representatives of 11 Azerbaijan partner universities had moderated by Dr. Inga Juknyte – Petreikiene, the European education expert from Lithuania. ASPU has been represented by the Foreign Languages Center’s employees Sabina Isgandarova, Mirvari Gasimova, Nushaba Ismaylova, Ayten Ibrahimova and Jala Samadova. The following issues have been discussed in the course of the training: student-centered approach in higher education, National Qualification Framework, competence based education, learning outcomes, teaching, learning and assessment methods. İn the course of training the universities’ teams have prepared and delivered their presentations on above-mentioned topics. At the end of the event all participants were awarded by the certificates.
