MSU staff at Royal Technology University in Stockholm, Sweden

The next trainings of the project "Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers at the Universities of Azerbaijan" (EQAC) within the framework of the Erasmus + program funded by EU, took place at the Royal Technological University of Sweden on August 25-31, by coordination of Baku Business University.

The trainings were attended by Samira Ahmadova, Head of the International Relations Sector at Mingachevir State University and Kamal Ahmadov, teacher at the Department of Organizing and Management of Industry as well as the representatives of ten universities of Azerbaijan. During the training, Swedish experts shared their experiences on quality assurance and made recommendations on how to apply this practice at Azerbaijani Universities.

At the end of the training, the participants were presented certificates prepared by KTH, King Technology University. The goal of this project is to establish Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani HEIs and adjust work principles with international standards. The trainings are to be held during local and overseas visits, focusing on management issues, and in particular, the establishment of a platform in order to build better quality management systems at universities.

Representatives of 11 Azerbaijani universities as well as  European, such as Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Lithuania, and the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan participate in the project.
